How to Insert a Blank Page Into a PDF
Inserting a blank page is small but comes up often — a notes page, a section divider, or just forcing a document to end on an even page for double-sided printing.
Where it goes
Decide whether it goes before or after a specific page, and check your page count beforehand — easy to miscount by one in a long document.
Matching page size
Make sure the blank page matches the surrounding document's size. An A4 doc with an accidentally Letter-sized blank page looks inconsistent and can cause printing issues. Most tools match the adjacent page automatically, but worth confirming.
For double-sided printing
Need a new section to always start on a right-hand (odd-numbered) page? Inserting a blank page before it forces that alignment — the same trick used in professionally printed books.
Removing it later
It's just a regular page as far as the PDF's concerned — removing it later uses the same process as deleting any other page.
